Payroll Specialist

Role Objectives:


As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and resolving payroll concerns internally; within the People & Culture department, while maintaining confidentiality.


Roles & Responsibilities:


    Responsible for collecting all the needed data for the monthly payroll including overtime, incentives, loans, if any.
    Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
    Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
    Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
    Ensure payroll records meets exact taxation and labor law compliance standards
    Maintains employee trust by keeping information confidential within the concerned stakeholders.
    Process and monitor all staffing changes including new hires, transfers, leavers and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements.
    Make all final settlements to all leavers and separate their payment in the payroll sheet.
    Handling bank accounts opening for new hires.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:


    Bachelor’s Degree
    2-3 years of solid Experience in payroll function.
    Proficiency in  MS. Office is a must.
    Exceptional Communication  
    Very good spoken and written English.
    Highly organized and detail-oriented  
    High follow up skills
