Role Objectives:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and resolving payroll concerns internally; within the People & Culture department, while maintaining confidentiality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Responsible for collecting all the needed data for the monthly payroll including overtime, incentives, loans, if any.
● Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
● Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
● Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
● Ensure payroll records meets exact taxation and labor law compliance standards
● Maintains employee trust by keeping information confidential within the concerned stakeholders.
● Process and monitor all staffing changes including new hires, transfers, leavers and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements.
● Make all final settlements to all leavers and separate their payment in the payroll sheet.
● Handling bank accounts opening for new hires.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
● Bachelor’s Degree
● 2-3 years of solid Experience in payroll function.
● Proficiency in MS. Office is a must.
● Exceptional Communication
● Very good spoken and written English.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented
● High follow up skills
