- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and network equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs), including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Install and organize cables, including Ethernet and power cables, to ensure neat and efficient cable management.
- Install and configure patch panel, Faceplate, and floor box to facilitate the organization and management of network connections.
- Configure and maintain security cameras and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) for surveillance purposes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication ability
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
