Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee specific categories within the dispatch operations, ensuring efficient tracking and management
Ensure smooth coordination of dispatch operations, including receiving and prioritizing orders, assigning drivers to routes, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
Schedule work shifts, assign tasks, and closely monitor staff attendance to maintain optimal coverage and productivity
Foster effective communication with all departments involved in the dispatch process, promptly addressing and resolving any issues or challenges faced by the team.
Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency, minimize errors, and streamline operations.
Conduct weekly meetings to discuss key points, address concerns, and facilitate collaboration and coordination among team members
Prepare and provide daily reports to the Dispatch Team Leader, offering comprehensive insights into operational performance, challenges, and achievements
Serve as a central point of contact for communication and collaboration between different departments, such as warehouse, transportation, customer service, and operations, to address any issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure efficient workflow
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the dispatch process, such as delivery delays, route changes, or customer complaints.
Act as the point person for troubleshooting and decision-making to ensure smooth operations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree.
Understanding of dispatching procedures, including routing, scheduling, and tracking
Knowledge of relevant transportation regulations and compliance requirements
Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage dispatch operations for multiple branches effectively
Effective problem-solving skills to address issues and discrepancies promptly
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including dispatchers, warehouse staff, and FPs Staff
Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve efficiency
Adaptability to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
