Job Summary
The maintenance lead will mentor and develop the maintenance capability of teams by serving as a technical mentor and resource, spend time on the floor gathering information on breakdowns, defects, and work order completion over the past 24 hours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventive types of maintenance on various high-speed and packaging machinery
Organize and execute duties aligned with Production and quality.
Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low-cost, high-quality producer
Ensure the quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.
Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and production machines based on operations and manufacturing manuals and specifications.
Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
Analyze machine breakdowns to identify and understand root causes.
Examine devices to test their performance.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand or power tools.
Examine used parts and determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Lubricates and cleans machine parts to sustain their effectiveness and efficiency.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
7-10 years of experience in a maintenance role or a related role.
Familiarity with scheduling tools and techniques to optimize delivery and receipt processes.
Ability to analyze and track resource availability for efficient team allocation.
Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations.
